Primary Care Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced part time/full time veterinary tech assistant.
Tasks include:
• Fill prescriptions - know a wide range of vet med and be able to calculate portions of liquids to solids and v/v.
• Handle estimates
• Nail trims
• Anal gland expressions
• Vaccines
• Assisting doctor w/ appointments - take vitals, weight, record patient symptoms, etc. in AviMark. Must be detailed and well organized for the doctor. Also must be able to communicate well with doctors and make him/her aware of symptoms and other necessary information he/she may need to be aware before for his appointment.
