Pure Paws Veterinary Care in Hell’s Kitchen is a full service, ultra-modern veterinary practice open 7 days a week in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of NY, NY. Responsibilities might include, but not limited to:
- Assists the veterinarian with exam rooms and uses veterinary software for documenting medical notes
- Performs venipuncture (Phlebotomy and catheter placement)
- Obtains laboratory collection, processing and possible interpreting (fecal/parasite analysis, ear cytology, skin cytology, urinalysis)
- Performs diagnostic imaging
- Must be skilled and knowledgeable with surgical assistance
- Performs periodontal cleaning
- Proficient in anesthesia
- Administers medication (oral, topical, injectable)
- Fill prescriptions and prepare medications as prescribed
- Client communication and education
- Provides compassionate patient care
