We are accepting applications for the position of Veterinary Technician and/or Veterinary Assistant. We are a privately-owned, two veterinarian practice that has been practicing veterinary medicine in Foster City for the more than 25 years. A positive work environment and a high degree of professionalism are very important to the staff and the veterinarian at Animal Cove Pet Hospital.

· Strong technical skills – venipuncture, digital dentals, digital x-rays, anesthesia monitoring

· Assisting in surgery, bandaging, catheter placement

· Knowledge of lab equipment

· Patient care as well as effectively communicating with clients

· Computer skills – we will train on our practice management software

· Dispensing medications and knowledge of preventive care

· A positive attitude and willingness to learn and a caring nature are musts.
