VCA South Shore Weymouth Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join a well-established Surgery Department in either general practice or specialty surgery in South Weymouth, Massachusetts. Our surgery teams support three board certified surgeons as well as many general practice doctors by overseeing all anesthetic procedures from patient intake to development of the anesthetic protocol all the way to patient recovery.
Day to day responsibilities of the Anesthesia Veterinary Technician include: patient intake and medical record preparation for surgical procedure; surgery suite set up and turnover; premedication and induction of anesthesia; sterile prep of surgical site; anesthetic monitoring throughout procedure; ensuring surgeon has necessary surgical instruments and equipment; recovery of patient; all recordkeeping associated with anesthetic procedures through the point of transfer to our ICU department.

Credentialed Technician and VTS in anesthesia are highly compensated!
We are seeking experienced Credentialed Veterinary Technicians to join our dynamic team at our 24/7 Emergency and Referral Center hospital on swing and overnight shifts.
The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. These positions are swing and night shift positions. Full and Part Time
